Hot on Stones: Zen the Spa at Reyhaan Rotana

By  |  0 Comments

Old Dubai charm coupled with an inviting promise of total indulgence led La Moda Dubai to give the Hot Stone Massage at Zen the Spa, Al Ghurair Rayhaan by Rotana a try.

The olden Native American tradition of using hot stones in treating aching muscles finds a modern alternative in spa centres. From time to time, it’s a buzzword among fellow spa enthusiasts, and thanks to an invite from Al Ghurair Rayhaan by Rotana, Dubai, we finally found an amazing venue to try this spa treatment our friends had been yapping about.

Serenity was a promise well delivered, from entering the spa lobby to drinking the welcome herbal tea and being ushered to the treatment room. The therapist was highly trained with techniques and customer service skills that it became quite comfortable to tell her what was expected and needed from the treatment.

For starters, we were treated with a soothing foot ritual, for what we thought was a wonderful starter to the session. And, without inhibitions, she carried on to begin the treatment. Carefully kneading our body with the hot stones, she skillfully managed to soothe and relieve our tired muscles. The 60-minute pampering was amazing, providing us a completely blissful moment.
