Vogue Japan is featuring the work of photographer Claiborne Swanson Frank, a Kors Collaborator and friend of the designer Michael Kors, in its June issue.

The eight-page fashion story, shot by Swanson Frank, features six accomplished women wearing the Michael Kors Spring 2013 collection. The women include fashion editor Amanda Hearst, filmmaker Tamara Lowe, interior designer Asia Baker, model and vintner Michele Ouellet, singer Jessi Adele and creative consultant Genevieve Bahrenburg.

The story was shot on location at the Parker Hotel in Palm Springs, CA. A behind-the-scenes video, filmed by Lowe, will be published on and on

Swanson Frank published American Beauty, a book of portraits, in February 2012 and began working with Michael Kors in the fall of that year. She was the very first Kors Collaborator, kicking off the digital initiative that profiles women with creative talents across the cultural spectrum and works with them on an exclusive original asset.

For that project, Swanson Frank photographed women in the Michael Kors Fall 2012 collection and created a mini book. Since then, the brand has collaborated with Amber Le Bon, Alexandra Richards and Poppy de Villeneuve.
