Walk your way to CHANEL’s shoe corner at The Dubai Mall
Bored this Christmas? Find no new place to go? Well, for shoe aficionados and CHANEL fanatics, we know something that will make your heart beat faster.
Recently unveiled at its one well established boutique at The Dubai Mall, one of the most prestigious shopping locations for Dubai’s most chic women, CHANEL has just opened a new shoe corner at Level Shoe District.
Designed by celebrated New York based architect Peter Marino, like the other CHANEL boutiques around the world, this boutique brings together three elements that represent the very essence of CHANEL – luxury, elegance and modernity. Clients are received in a space that explores a black, white and gold palette. Bespoke carpets accentuate touches of black marble and, in the VIP lounge area, finishing in worked bronze are reflected in a magnificent chandelier by Goossens.
Always legendary in style, the two-tone shoe is one of the icons of CHANEL that has been revered and adored by women since its creation in 1957 by Gabrielle Chanel. Her two-tone shoes remain today after many decades a symbol of refined taste, mastering a design that makes women’s feet look smaller and more elegant, while providing absolute comfort.
Yet the heritage of Gabrielle Chanel’s innovation with shoes extends further than simply the famous two-tone shoe. The shoe collection is today animated by Karl Lagerfeld’s extraordinary creative vision in 6 Ready-to-Wear collections per year. From pumps to boots, ballerinas to sneakers, from suede to tweed, lambskin to satin, the shoe range explores a plethora of styles, colours and materials.
The new CHANEL Shoe Corner offers this season’s Cruise 2012-13 shoe collection, including the superbly modern metallic creepers, whose off-beat attitude is matched by a selection of handbags headlined by the Boy.
