Hoss Intropia F/W 2011 returns to natural
After Summer 2011’s seizure-inducing parade of psychedelic brights comes the promise of more forgiving hues and enduring styles – at least that’s what we gather from cult Spanish label Hoss Intropia’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection.
The focus next season is back on warm and dark earth tones to mimic the seasonal changes that occur during the Fall. Hoss Intropia’s new collection is cut from pure fabrics such as wools, cottons and leathers and finished in shades of red, purple, black and ivory.
Tribal details in the form of accessories and embellishments will still be hogging the sartorial stage next season, with touches of 70s cosmopolitan New York – pop art and structured silhouettes – rising to the surface.
The Victorian era shrouds the Hoss Intropia woman as more romantic and more mysterious, silk, chiffon, guipure, fine laces, velvet, embroidery and glass and feathers take us to a scene laden with literary memories.
Knit and leather, in all of their textures, will be the big allies against the low temperatures together with noble fabrics such as silks, velvets and woollen cloths.
