Fan di Fendi fragrance launches in Paris
Fendi’s got a new scent to steal some thunder from Prada Candy. The Roman luxury fashion house recently hosted an exclusive launch of Fan di Fendi at its Avenue Montaigne boutique in Paris, attended by the casa’s top execs, the beauty press and the who’s who of Parisian society.
Fan di Fendi is yet another addition to the brand’s successes since its inception in 1925, which includes the invention of the double F logo by Karl Lagerfeld, the rebirth of the handbag as singeled by the Baguette, and to fashion newcomers, the creation of the iconic Peek a boo.
A celebration of the story of the house of Fendi, which is all about girl power, Fan di Fendi is a feminine concoction of pear and blackcurrant, topped by notes of tangerine and a dash of pink peppercorn. A leather note, trailing whiffs of seductive patchouli, adds mature sensuality to the olfactory experience.
Followers of casa di Fendi will also love the packaging, which incorporates the double F logo which has been synonymous to glamour and elegance since its release in the 1960s. With the Chinese going all out on spending for luxury, we’re sure this is going to be a big hit, just by putting the Fendi logo on the bottle alone – because they love logos.
Fan di Fendi will be available at fragrance shelves across the Middle East starting mid-August.
