Fashion t-shirts for charity: Kate Mouse, Harper’s Bazaar & Brown
It looks like it’s fashion for a cause this week here at La Moda. We’ve told you about Bvlgari’s jewellery for charity and the upcoming Fashion My Community charity event in support of a local institution here in Dubai, and now we’ve got more charity items to add to your shopping list.
Artist and fashion designer Simeon Farrar has released a reworked version of his iconic Kate Mouse shirt, featuring a sketch of supermodel Kate Moss with whiskers and mouse ears, to include the rising sun logo in aid of the Japanese Red Cross.
The t-shirt is exclusively available on Net-a-Porter.com for £50 with 50% of all sales to be donated to the Japanese Red Cross appeal.
Meanwhile, Harper’s Bazaar International and Brown Fashion have teamed up with six of the world’s renowned fashion houses to produce a line of t-shirts for the benefit of Women for Women International, a charity that changes the lives of women around the world, one woman at a time.
Donatella Versace, Angela Missoni (modelled by Margherita), Veronica Etro, Frida Giannini for Gucci, Alberta Ferretti and Rossella Jardini for Moschino have all pitched in their creative talent to help make the initiative a reality. The t-shirts will be available for purchase at s*uce boutiques in the UAE from Monday, May 16th.
