Kenzo kaftans exclusively for the Middle East
Kenzo’s new line of kaftans exclusively available to Middle East customers are here, and while we have only seen the photos, we’ve already come up with a list of reasons why we love them.
Coming in short and long versions to appeal to customers with varying levels of modesty, the kaftans are floaty, breezy creations of relaxed femininity and are inspired by the vivid colours of macaroons (arguably the queen of fashion foods today).
1.) They’re perfect for Summer 2011’s colour blocking, which if you ask us is probably the last season the trend will ever see so much acceptance and following. It won’t be back for the next six to eight seasons.
2.) The kaftan line comes with a delicious macaroon bag collection from Kenzo. You can either go for a monochromatic look or make clever use of colour pops.
3.) They’re exclusively made for the Middle East market, which hardly ever happens in the world of global fashion. Making customers feel special is an excellent way to conclude a sale.
4.) Because they come in different lengths, they’re as versatile as a little black dress, only they’ve got more edge and culture than the safer and more generic little black dress. You can wear an above-the-knee kaftan to an afternoon tea with the ladies and get in a floor-skimming one for a more formal gathering in the evening.
