Louis Vuitton recently unveiled their collaboration with Lebanese artist Nadim Karam at the reopening of the French malletier’s Mall of the Emirates store.

The event welcomed Louis Vuitton executives from Paris and Milan to inaugurate the extension of the boutique, as well as the opening of a family room within the store – perfect for when you need more time to decide if you’re going with a Monogram Vernis or Nomade version.

This extension of its Mall of the Emirates boutique celebrates Louis Vuitton and Dubai’s links to the Arabic contemporary art and culture.

The Parisian luxury brand pays tribute to children as its fundamental and defining value by the opening of the first family room in a Louis Vuitton store and a special collaboration with Nadim Karam who will present The Travelling Elephant, an artwork created between the artist and a group of Dubai based international children, produced during a unique and emotional children’s art workshop at DUCTAC, Mall of the Emirates. The art piece will be then donated for the benefit of START foundation in the Middle East.

“We are delighted to be here today to celebrate this broadened and fully renovated luxury space, but most of all to reiterate our engagement to the city of Dubai and to its citizens paying homage to art and culture and supporting education and children,” says Valérie Chapoulaud-Floquet, President & CEO Louis Vuitton South Europe.
