Pick of the day: Versace VRace timepieces
Looking for a designer watch that doesn’t cost a year’s rent at the Dubai Marina? The Audemars Piguets of the world sure are to die for, but for some people, the investment required to acquire such marvelous show-offs of Swiss craftsmanship just isn’t practical. Hence, the search for the attainable designer timepiece.
Now might be a good time to keep your eyes open, as Versace has just unveiled its newest additions to the brand’s successful range of luxurious yet invitingly affordable watches. The VRace line comes in two options: a chronograph coated in rose gold and a steel, Swiss-movement three-hand quartz model.
The round 42mm case in steel features interchangeable lunettes available in a choice of three options: either with the incised and repeated Versace or Greek key logos, or a minute dial. The case feature a sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment for clear visibility of the Medusa symbol placed at the centre of the white dial. (Approximately AED 3,380)
The sporty chronograph version features a case in IP-coated rose gold with a black dial on which the Medusa and Versace logos are clearly visible at 12 o’clock. The three counters express the dynamic quality of this watch with its Swiss ETA G15.261 movement. (Approximately AED 5,510)
Both models feature black alligator straps and serial numbers incised on the back of the case.
